About Daniel

“Born in Mississauga, Ontario, I spent my early years there before moving to Burlington and Toronto, and eventually settling in Georgetown with my wife, Lauren, and our dog, Sugo. Living in Georgetown has given me a strong appreciation for the community and the needs of individuals, families and businesses throughout Georgetown, Halton Hills and Milton.

Before transitioning to insurance, I built a successful career as a residential appraiser. My work involved property valuation, market analysis and detailed assessments of residential properties, including their condition, location, construction and surrounding market trends. This experience developed my attention to detail and gave me a practical understanding of the real estate landscape that I now apply when helping clients review their home and property insurance needs.

Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, playing sports, listening to music, travelling, spending time at cottages and enjoying time with my family. I take pride in being professional, reliable and responsive, and I look forward to becoming a trusted insurance resource for clients throughout Georgetown, Halton Hills and Milton.”

Across our Georgetown, Halton Hills and Milton customers, the average auto insurance cost was approximately $2,651 per year per vehicle , or about $221 per month . View Data Notes and How These Figures Were Calculated

Geographic Scope

These figures combine annual premiums from Reliable Insurance Brokers’ book of business for customers whose cleaned city fields were Georgetown, Acton or Milton. Georgetown and Acton are both located within Halton Hills and are used to represent the Halton Hills portion of this study.

Georgetown is counted once as its own source city and is not counted a second time under a separate Halton Hills category. This avoids double-counting the same Georgetown policies.

Personal Auto Sample

The combined auto figures use 53 valid personal auto policy groups , covering 74 vehicle exposures and 51 auto households .

The average cost per vehicle was calculated from the combined valid auto premiums and vehicle exposures across Georgetown, Acton and Milton. The three city averages were not simply added together or averaged equally.

Residential and Combined Household Samples

The residential insurance figure uses 39 households with home, condo, tenant or related residential insurance. The combined home-and-auto figure uses 36 households that had both personal auto and residential insurance.

Lowest Observed Example

The lowest displayed example was an observed annual personal auto cost of $964.50 per vehicle in the Georgetown source data. It is rounded to $965 in the customer-facing card.

This figure is not an advertised starting price, a guaranteed premium or an amount available to every driver. It describes one observed per-vehicle result within the cleaned local sample.

Small-Sample Limitation for Acton

The Acton portion contains only 2 valid personal auto policy groups , 5 vehicle exposures and 2 residential households . Because this is a small sample, one unusually high or low policy can materially affect the Acton figures and the combined Halton Hills results.

Records and Calculation Rules

Blank premiums, zero-dollar premiums, negative or reversal entries, quote-only entries and policies outside personal auto and residential insurance were excluded. Multi-vehicle policies were counted using the valid insured vehicle lines associated with each policy group.

These figures are intended to provide a local point of reference. They are not official market averages, standardized quotes or a prediction of what every Georgetown, Halton Hills or Milton customer will pay.

Actual premiums may be higher or lower depending on the address, vehicle, licensed drivers, driving experience, insurance history, tickets, accidents, claims, annual kilometres, commute, vehicle use, parking, coverage, deductibles, household vehicles, discounts, insurer rules and eligibility.

Local Sample Used for This Ranking

This ranking is based on 53 valid personal auto policy groups for Reliable Insurance Brokers customers in Georgetown, Acton and Milton. The local total includes 14 policy groups in Georgetown , 2 policy groups in Acton and 37 policy groups in Milton .

Georgetown and Acton are both communities within Halton Hills. The Georgetown policies are counted once under Georgetown and are not counted again under a separate Halton Hills category. This avoids double-counting the same policies.

A policy group represents one valid personal auto policy after duplicate vehicle lines belonging to that policy are combined. The following table shows the complete insurer-family distribution used to produce the three customer-facing cards above.

Georgetown, Acton and Milton Personal Auto Placements by Insurer Family
Insurer Family Policy Groups Share
Aviva 22 41.5%
Intact 21 39.6%
Travelers 7 13.2%

How Insurer Programs Were Grouped

Affiliated programs were combined under their principal insurer family. Aviva includes Aviva and Aviva Traders programs. Intact includes Intact-branded policies, Intact group programs and Intact ESM programs. Travelers includes Travelers-branded and Travelers group-program policies.

Acton Is a Small Portion of the Local Sample

The Acton portion contains only 2 valid personal auto policy groups . One additional policy can therefore change Acton’s insurer distribution substantially. The ranking above is based on the full combined Georgetown, Acton and Milton sample rather than presenting Acton as a separate market ranking.

Data Period and Exclusions

The policy effective dates represented in these local figures range from to . Blank premiums, zero-dollar premiums, negative or reversal entries, quote-only entries and policies outside personal auto insurance were excluded.

These figures describe Reliable Insurance Brokers’ local customer placements. They are not official Ontario market-share statistics. Reliable Insurance Brokers represents a selected group of insurance companies and does not represent every insurer operating in Ontario.

The ranking does not identify the cheapest insurer for every driver and does not guarantee a quote, premium, eligibility or acceptance. Insurance pricing and eligibility depend on the individual driver, vehicle, address, coverage, deductible, claims history, annual kilometres, vehicle use, discounts and insurer underwriting rules.

Why Georgetown, Halton Hills and Milton Drivers Pay Different Auto Insurance Rates

Two drivers living on the same street can receive very different car insurance prices. Insurance companies consider your postal-code rating area , vehicle, driving experience, tickets, accidents, commute and annual kilometres , vehicle use, coverage selections, deductibles and available discounts. Each insurance company weighs these details differently, which is why comparing more than one insurer can uncover meaningful savings.

Your Address Is Only One Part of Your Insurance Price

Your Georgetown, Acton, Halton Hills or Milton postal code can affect your rate because insurance companies review claims and driving patterns in different areas. However, your driving record , vehicle, annual kilometres, parking location and selected coverage can be just as important. Even drivers in the same household may receive different prices based on their individual driver and vehicle details.

Insurance Companies Do Not All Charge the Same Price

One insurer may offer better pricing for an experienced driver, while another may be more competitive for a newer vehicle, a household with several cars or a home-and-auto bundle. Eligibility for winter tire discounts , multi-vehicle discounts , claims-free savings, group programs and other discounts can also vary between companies. Comparing several insurers gives you a better chance of finding the right combination of price, coverage and deductible.

Ontario Auto Insurance Reform

Ontario Auto Insurance Coverage Changed in 2026

Ontario drivers now have more choice over certain accident benefits. While this provides greater flexibility, it also makes it important to understand what is included in your policy, which benefits are optional and what may be missing from a lower-priced quote. Daniel Migliaro can help Georgetown, Halton Hills and Milton drivers compare both the price and the protection before choosing a policy.

Some Accident Benefits May Not Be Automatically Included

For policies entered into on or after July 1, 2026, medical, rehabilitation and attendant care benefits remain mandatory, but several other Ontario accident benefits can be optional . Depending on the available selections, this may include income replacement, caregiver, housekeeping and home maintenance, non-earner, dependant care, death, funeral and other accident-related benefits.

A Lower Price May Also Mean Less Protection

A less expensive Georgetown, Halton Hills or Milton auto insurance quote may look attractive, but some optional benefits may have been reduced, removed or left out. Two policies with similar prices can provide very different financial protection after a serious accident, so it is important to compare more than the premium and understand the coverage limits shown in your policy .

Review Your Options With Daniel Before You Choose

Your income, family responsibilities, dependants, workplace health benefits, disability insurance, household responsibilities and financial obligations can all affect which optional accident benefits are worth considering. Daniel can explain the available choices and help you understand how reducing a benefit could affect you and your family after a serious accident.

Be Careful Before Reducing Your Auto Insurance Coverage

Some auto insurance policies may appear less expensive because optional benefits have been reduced or removed. Before choosing a policy, make sure you understand what is included, which benefits are optional and what financial protection you may be giving up after a serious accident. Daniel Migliaro can help you compare the coverage and the price together.

Georgetown, Halton Hills & Milton Winter Tire Discount

Winter Tires Can Help Lower Your Georgetown, Halton Hills and Milton Auto Insurance

Winter weather across Georgetown, Halton Hills and Milton can bring snow, freezing rain, slush and sudden temperature changes. Whether you are driving on local Georgetown streets, rural Halton Hills roads, Highway 7, Highway 25 or Highway 401, dependable winter traction matters. Many Ontario insurance companies offer a discount when approved winter tires are installed and meet their requirements.

Beyond the potential insurance savings, winter tires are designed to provide better grip and braking performance in cold conditions. They can also extend the useful life of your all-season tires by taking them out of service during the winter months.

Winter Tire Discounts

Installing approved winter tires on all four wheels may help Georgetown, Halton Hills and Milton drivers qualify for an auto insurance discount.

Better Cold-Weather Control

Improved traction in snow, slush and icy conditions can help you maintain better control during difficult winter driving throughout Halton Hills and Milton.

How Postal Codes Affect Auto Insurance in Georgetown, Halton Hills and Milton

Your address is one of the details insurance companies use when calculating your car insurance price. A move within Georgetown, Acton, Halton Hills or Milton can place your vehicle in a different postal-code rating area , and different insurers may price that area differently.

Your postal code is not the whole quote. Your vehicle, driving record, coverage, discounts, parking and commute distance and annual kilometres can also affect what you pay. That is why two neighbours can receive different prices, and why comparing several insurance companies can matter.

About This Local Postal-Code Dataset

These figures are based on valid personal auto policies written through Reliable Insurance Brokers for customers whose cleaned city fields were Georgetown, Acton or Milton. The dataset contains 53 valid personal auto policy groups and 74 vehicle exposures.

Georgetown and Acton are both located within Halton Hills. Georgetown is counted once under Georgetown and is not counted again under a separate Halton Hills row. This avoids double-counting the same policy groups and vehicle exposures.

The policy effective dates represented in the dataset range from May 31, 2025 to May 26, 2026. The figures describe Reliable Insurance Brokers’ customers and are not official Ontario market averages.

The three public-facing cards use Georgetown L7G, Acton L7J and Milton L9T. Georgetown and Acton each have one represented postal-code area in this dataset. Milton L9T was selected because it has more valid vehicle exposures than Milton L9E. This avoids selecting the Milton area simply because it produced the highest or lowest price.

The Acton portion contains only 2 valid personal auto policy groups and 5 vehicle exposures. One additional policy can therefore materially change the Acton result, so it should be treated as a small local sample rather than a broad market average.

Georgetown, Acton and Milton Personal Auto Costs by Postal-Code Area
Community Postal Area Policy Groups Vehicles Lowest Annual Cost Per Vehicle Average Annual Cost Per Vehicle
Georgetown L7G 14 20 $965 $2,337
Acton L7J 2 5 $2,215 $2,423
Milton L9E 13 14 $1,359 $3,227
Milton L9T 24 35 $1,527 $2,632
Combined All Listed Areas 53 74 $965 $2,651

How the Figures Were Calculated

A personal auto policy group was identified using the customer number, policy number, policy type, effective date and full-term premium. Vehicle count was based on the number of valid vehicle lines belonging to the policy group. The raw vehicle number shown on a policy was not treated as the number of insured vehicles.

The annual premium per vehicle was calculated by dividing the policy premium by the valid vehicle-line count. The average for each postal-code area was calculated by dividing the total deduplicated auto premium by the total valid vehicle count for that area. The combined average was calculated from the total premium and total vehicle exposures across all four listed areas rather than by averaging the four area averages equally.

Records Excluded From the Website Figures

Blank premiums, zero-dollar premiums, negative or reversal entries, records identified as quotes, and records outside valid Ontario personal auto insurance were excluded. Duplicate vehicle lines belonging to the same policy group were not treated as separate policy premiums.

Important Limitations

These are not standardized quotes for an identical driver. Each postal-code area contains a different mix of vehicles, drivers, coverage limits, deductibles, claims histories, discounts, annual kilometres, parking arrangements and household details. The figures should not be used to calculate the isolated effect of moving from one postal code to another.

Actual premiums may be higher or lower. Your price depends on your complete address, drivers, vehicles, claims, convictions, insurance history, vehicle use, annual kilometres, coverage, deductibles, discounts, insurer eligibility and underwriting rules.

The useful takeaway is that local prices can vary considerably. A quote based on your own address, vehicle, driving record and coverage is the only reliable way to find out which available insurer is most competitive for you.

What Daniel Reviews Before Recommending an Auto Insurance Policy

Daniel compares more than the monthly payment. He reviews the details that can affect both your price and the protection provided by the policy.

Address and Postal Code

A move within Georgetown, Acton, Halton Hills or Milton can change how insurance companies price your postal-code area .

Commute and Vehicle Use

Working from home, changing jobs or driving fewer kilometres can affect how your commute and annual vehicle use should be shown on the policy.

Household Vehicles

Daniel can review all household drivers and vehicles together so eligible multi-vehicle and household savings are not overlooked.

Coverage and Deductibles

Price should be considered alongside liability limits, deductibles, collision and comprehensive coverage , and other optional protection.

Compare the Whole Household Together

Quoting one vehicle by itself may miss savings available when household vehicles and property insurance are reviewed together. Keeping eligible vehicles with the same insurer may help preserve multi-vehicle discount opportunities , while combining auto with home, condo or tenant insurance may create additional bundle savings.

Definitions Used in the Data

A valid personal auto policy group represents one personal auto policy after vehicle lines belonging to the same policy were grouped together using the customer number, policy number, policy type, effective date and full-term premium.

A vehicle exposure represents one valid insured vehicle line associated with a personal auto policy. A policy covering several vehicles can therefore represent one policy group and several vehicle exposures.

How the Cost Per Vehicle Was Calculated

For each policy group, the full annual policy premium was divided by the number of valid insured vehicle lines associated with that policy. The average for each community was calculated by dividing the total valid personal auto premium by the total number of vehicle exposures in that community.

The combined average was calculated from the total valid premium and total vehicle exposures across Georgetown, Acton and Milton. The three community averages were not simply averaged together equally.

The lowest annual cost per vehicle is the lowest valid policy-level premium-per-vehicle result found for the applicable area. The displayed difference is the area average minus the lowest customer example. The percentage shows how far the lowest example was below that average.

Small-Sample Limitation for Acton

Acton is represented by only 2 valid personal auto policy groups and 5 vehicle exposures . One additional high- or low-cost policy could therefore change the Acton result materially. The Acton figures should be treated as a small local customer sample rather than a broad market average.

Data Period

The policy effective dates represented in this comparison range from to .

Records Excluded From the Website Figures

Blank premiums, zero-dollar premiums, negative or reversal entries, quote-only entries and records outside valid Ontario personal auto insurance were excluded. Duplicate vehicle lines associated with the same policy group were not treated as separate full policy premiums.

Important Limitations

These are not standardized quotes for an identical driver. The policies represented can involve different drivers, vehicles, addresses, insurance companies, driving histories, claims, convictions, annual kilometres, commute distances, coverage limits, deductibles, discounts and household arrangements.

The figures describe Reliable Insurance Brokers’ local customer data and are not official market averages, advertised starting premiums or guaranteed quotes. Actual premiums may be higher or lower depending on the applicant, insurer eligibility, rating rules and underwriting requirements.

What Determines Your Georgetown, Halton Hills or Milton Car Insurance Rate?

Your car insurance price is based on much more than your address. The vehicle you choose , your driving record , postal-code rating area , driving experience, commute and annual kilometres , coverage, deductibles and available discounts can all affect what you pay in Georgetown, Halton Hills and Milton.

Select any card below to see how one change can affect an insurance quote. Daniel Migliaro can then compare your actual information with available insurance companies.

Your Vehicle

Two vehicles can produce very different insurance prices, even when the driver and coverage are similar.

Your Driving Record

Tickets and at-fault accidents can affect your price and the insurance companies available to you.

Your Postal Code

Auto insurance prices can differ between Georgetown and Milton postal-code areas, but your address is only one part of the quote.

Your Driving Experience

Licensing history and years of driving experience can have a major impact on auto insurance pricing.

How You Use Your Vehicle

Your commute, annual kilometres and business or personal use can affect how an insurer prices your vehicle.

Your Coverage Options

Removing coverage can reduce the premium, but it can also leave you responsible for damage to your own vehicle.

Your Deductible

A higher deductible may reduce your premium, but it also increases what you may need to pay after a covered claim.

Your Available Discounts

The right combination of discounts can reduce your premium without forcing you to remove important coverage.

Daniel Migliaro can compare available insurance companies, review your coverage and check the discounts that may apply to your household.

How to Read These Insurance Examples

Illustrative Quote Comparisons

The vehicle, driving record, driving experience, vehicle use, coverage, deductible and discount cards use illustrative insurance examples. They are intended to demonstrate how changing a rating or coverage detail can affect a premium. They are not advertised starting prices, guaranteed premiums or personalized quotes for every Georgetown, Halton Hills or Milton driver.

Some comparisons keep the described vehicle and coverage similar while changing the highlighted factor. Other comparisons may also involve different insurer pricing or discount eligibility. They should therefore be used as educational examples rather than as a precise prediction of how much one individual change will affect every policy.

Local Postal-Code Examples

The postal-code card uses observed annual costs per vehicle from Reliable Insurance Brokers customers. The Georgetown L7G figures use 14 valid personal auto policy groups and 20 vehicle exposures. The Milton L9T figures use 24 valid personal auto policy groups and 35 vehicle exposures.

Georgetown L7G and Milton L9T were used because each area has a more substantial local sample than Acton L7J. Acton remains included in the complete Georgetown, Halton Hills and Milton postal-code section , where its small-sample limitation is explained.

The Georgetown and Milton examples represent different customer groups. They include different drivers, vehicles, insurers, coverage limits, deductibles, claims histories, discounts, annual kilometres and household arrangements. The observed difference cannot be attributed to postal code alone.

Your Insurance Score Could Affect Your Home Insurance Cost in Georgetown, Halton Hills and Milton

Many homeowners, condo owners and tenants do not realize that some property insurers may use a credit-based insurance score , with your permission, when pricing home, condo or tenant insurance. Depending on the insurer and your individual profile, this may help you qualify for a more competitive premium.

If you have been with the same insurance company for several years, it may be worth comparing your Georgetown, Halton Hills or Milton home insurance before renewal. Your current insurer may not have insurance score consent on file, or the information used when the policy was first quoted may not reflect an improved credit profile.

Your insurance score is only one part of the price. Claims history, rebuilding cost, property details, deductible choices, available discounts, sewer backup and overland water coverage , home safety features and mortgage-free status can also affect the final premium. Daniel’s previous residential appraisal experience brings an additional property-focused perspective when reviewing the details that may affect your quote.

About This Local Dataset

These figures were calculated from Reliable Insurance Brokers’ customer data for households whose cleaned city fields were Georgetown, Acton or Milton. Georgetown and Acton are both communities within Halton Hills. Georgetown is counted once under Georgetown and is not counted again under a separate Halton Hills category.

The results use 39 residential insurance households with positive, valid habitational premiums. Those households held 40 valid habitational policy groups because one Acton household had two residential policies.

The effective dates represented in the dataset range from to .

How the Home and Condo or Tenant Estimates Were Created

The source data identifies these policies broadly as Habitational and does not consistently identify whether each policy is for a detached home, townhouse, condominium or tenant. To create a more useful consumer comparison, annual residential premium totals below $550 per household were treated as more likely to be condo or tenant insurance. Annual residential premium totals of $550 or more were treated as more likely to be home insurance.

This classification is an estimate. It may not correctly identify every individual policy and should not be treated as a formal policy-type classification.

The following table combines all valid home, condo, tenant and related residential policies within each forward sortation area. Acton L7J has only two households and should be interpreted cautiously.

Residential Insurance Premiums by Georgetown, Acton and Milton Postal Area
Community Postal Area Residential Households Average Annual Premium
Georgetown L7G 12 $1,162.67
Acton L7J 2 $5,307.00
Milton L9E 9 $1,314.22
Milton L9T 16 $1,049.81
Combined All Listed Areas 39 $1,363.87

Why the Acton Figure Is Unusually High

The Acton result is based on only two residential households. One of those households had two valid habitational policies, so its annual residential premium total reflects more than one policy. With such a small sample, one household can materially change the displayed average. The Acton figure should not be treated as an estimate of what a typical Acton homeowner will pay.

Calculation Method

Habitational premiums were grouped separately from auto insurance. Duplicate policy lines belonging to the same valid habitational policy group were consolidated, and each positive annual policy premium was counted once. Where a household held more than one valid habitational policy, the premiums were combined into that household’s residential premium total.

The overall and community averages were calculated by dividing the combined valid residential premium by the applicable number of residential households.

Records Excluded From the Website Figures

Blank premiums, zero-dollar premiums, negative or reversal premiums, rows where the policy number contained the word QUOTE, and rows outside valid habitational insurance were excluded.

Important Limitations

These are not standardized quotes for identical properties. The policies represented may involve different property types, rebuilding costs, locations, construction, ages, roofs, plumbing, heating systems, occupancy, claims histories, coverage limits, deductibles, water endorsements, insurance scores, discounts and insurers.

The community and postal-area figures describe Reliable Insurance Brokers’ local customer data. They are not official market averages and should not be used to determine the isolated effect of a community or postal code. Areas with very few households can change significantly when one policy or household is added or removed.

Actual premiums may be higher or lower depending on the property, applicant, coverage choices, insurer eligibility and underwriting requirements.

Moving to Georgetown, Halton Hills or Milton? Bring Your Driving and Insurance History

If you are moving to Georgetown, Halton Hills or Milton from another province, the United States or another country, the documents you bring may help some insurance companies recognize your previous driving and insurance experience. Before starting your auto insurance quote with Daniel Migliaro, try to collect your driving abstract, previous insurance letters, claims history, licence documents and policy details where available.

Our New to Ontario Auto Insurance Guide explains what to collect, how previous insurance experience may affect your first Ontario quote and why licence-exchange documents are not always the same as the documents an insurance company needs. Daniel can review your situation before you spend money ordering or translating records that may not help with the available insurers.

Driving abstract Letters of experience Claims history Policy dates and details Licence documents

Insurance Quote Documents and Licence-Exchange Documents Are Different

A letter from a previous insurer may help an insurance company recognize your prior history, but Ontario licence-exchange documents generally need to come from accepted licensing or government sources. The two processes may require different records.

Before paying for driving records, insurance letters or translations, ask Daniel which documents are likely to help with the insurance companies available to you.

Make Sure Your Previous Experience Is Being Recognized

A clean driving record can still be priced differently from one insurance company to another. Daniel can review how much prior driving and insurance history each available company is recognizing and whether another insurer may rate your experience more favourably. Georgetown, Halton Hills and Milton Auto Insurance FAQs

How much does auto insurance cost in Georgetown, Halton Hills and Milton?

Among our Georgetown, Halton Hills and Milton customers included in this page’s local comparison, the average auto insurance cost was approximately $2,651 per insured vehicle per year, or about $221 per month. Some customers paid considerably less, while others paid more.

This is a local customer average, not an advertised starting price or a guaranteed quote. Your actual premium depends on your address, vehicle, drivers, insurance history, claims, coverage, deductibles, annual kilometres and available discounts. Review our Georgetown, Halton Hills and Milton insurance cost comparison for additional local examples and complete data notes.

Does my Georgetown, Halton Hills or Milton postal code affect my car insurance rate?

Yes. Insurance companies consider local claims experience and other location-related information when calculating auto insurance premiums. Moving within Georgetown, Acton, Halton Hills or Milton can therefore change how different insurers price your vehicle.

Your postal code is only one part of the quote. Your vehicle, driving history, annual kilometres, commute, parking, coverage and discounts also matter. Review the local Georgetown, Acton and Milton postal-code examples or use our Ontario Postal Code Affordability Tool before requesting a personalized quote.

Is auto insurance mandatory in Georgetown, Halton Hills and Milton?

Yes. Every vehicle driven on Ontario roads must be covered by a valid Ontario auto insurance policy. A standard policy includes third-party liability, statutory accident benefits, uninsured automobile coverage and direct compensation-property damage coverage, commonly called DCPD.

Ontario drivers can elect in writing not to recover under DCPD, so this coverage should not be treated as mandatory in every policy. Before removing or reducing protection, make sure you understand what the coverage does and how much financial risk you would personally accept. Our Ontario auto liability coverage guide explains the foundation of an Ontario auto insurance policy.

What changed with Ontario auto insurance accident benefits in 2026?

For policies entered into on or after July 1, 2026, medical, rehabilitation and attendant care remain mandatory accident benefits. Other benefits, including income replacement, non-earner, caregiver, housekeeping and home maintenance, death and funeral benefits, can be optional.

A lower-priced policy may provide less protection when optional benefits have not been selected. Daniel can help you compare both the premium and the coverage before making a decision. Read our Ontario Optional Accident Benefits Guide for a more complete explanation.

How can I lower my auto insurance premium in Georgetown, Halton Hills or Milton?

Local drivers may be able to reduce their premiums by maintaining a clean driving record, accurately reporting their commute and annual kilometres, installing approved winter tires , combining household vehicles, bundling home and auto insurance, reviewing deductibles and checking whether group, occupation or other insurer discounts apply.

The best savings opportunities vary by insurance company and household. Daniel can review your actual information rather than relying on one general discount. Visit the Insurance Savings Learning Hub to explore available auto and home insurance discounts.

Is it cheaper to bundle home and auto insurance?

Often, but not always. Many insurance companies offer a discount when your home, condo or tenant insurance and auto insurance are placed together. Households with several vehicles may also qualify for a multi-vehicle discount .

Daniel can compare the total household cost and confirm that both the property and auto policies still provide appropriate coverage. The lowest auto price by itself may not create the lowest overall household insurance cost.

How does Daniel’s residential appraisal experience help with home insurance?

Before entering the insurance industry, Daniel worked as a residential appraiser and developed experience reviewing property condition, construction, location, market trends and other details that can influence a home’s value.

That background gives Daniel a practical property perspective when discussing rebuilding information, renovations and home insurance coverage. He can also help you understand why the amount needed to rebuild a property may be different from its real estate value. Learn more about rebuilding cost and guaranteed replacement coverage .

Can Daniel help if I am moving to Ontario from another province or country?

Yes. Previous driving and insurance documents may help some insurance companies recognize your experience. Useful records can include a driving abstract, letters from previous insurers, policy dates, claims history and government-issued licensing documents.

Insurance-company requirements and Ontario licence-exchange requirements are not always the same. Review our New to Ontario Auto Insurance Guide before ordering or translating documents, and ask Daniel which records are most likely to help with your insurance quote.

Why should I compare auto insurance companies?

Insurance companies do not all price the same driver, vehicle or postal code in the same way. One company may be more competitive for an experienced driver, while another may offer better pricing for a particular vehicle, household bundle, discount program or coverage combination.

Daniel can compare options from the insurance companies available through Reliable Insurance Brokers and explain important differences in price, coverage, deductibles, eligibility and available discounts.

How can I contact Daniel Migliaro?
